TD92 Finish Mower
The Progressive TD92 tri-deck finishing mower has been long regarded as the benchmark of the turfgrass production industry. At a 22′ wide cutting swath, it is designed to be used with the tractors that are commonly found on farms. In a production setting, mower availability is important. Daily maintenance and servicing can be easily performed in the field. The PTO shafts have Ring Lock collars for easy removal and additional safety. All blade spindle assemblies on the TD92 are maintenance free § – meaning you don’t have to worry about a missed greasing. They can be easily removed from the deck as a complete unit. All mower deck components are totally interchangeable, for easy servicing. The components used to construct a TD92 have been field proven over many years and many remain in production today. This consistency is why a TD92 is known for its durability and high resale value.
Maintenance Free Blade Spindles
Developed and tested over several years, Progressive is pleased to introduce maintenance free blade spindle assemblies. Completely interchangeable with a greased spindle, the same housing is used providing wide spacing between the bearings ensuring low bearing loading and long service life. Maintenance free blade spindles not only protect the owner’s investment from a missed service, it also reduces overall maintenance time and costs. Watch for maintenance free blade spindles to be added to other Progressive mowers in the future.
100 hour Greasing Interval PTO Shafts
All of the shafts including the input slip joint on the TD92 have 100 hour greasing intervals. The wing and deck pivots points are also on a 100 hour schedule. The extended interval means more productive mowing time is available each day. For larger scale operations this also allows for easier maintenance scheduling. A daily pre-use walk-around of the mower and tractor should always be performed, but now this task can be accomplished in less time.
